”Flexolahti.
Colour, Expertly Managed”

Variable work procedures and uncontrolled print processes affect print quality and efficiency. Flexolahti offers solutions for the seamless integrations of repro and printing press, standardized printing processes and quality assurance. As a result work procedures uniform, print quality improves and utilization rate of the press improves. Flexolahti is developing colour management together with our global partner X-Rite Pantone.

CM ROI

Pantone Certified Printer Program

X-Rite Pantone conducts external audit for quality inspection of tools and operating procedures of the ink kitchen and print room. The reference is a set of criteria based on ISO standards that Flexolahti has modified for X-Rite Pantone. It is an international certificate that demonstrates the quality of operation to the clients.

Flexolahti EGP

Flexolahti implemented and has been working with EGP 7-colour process since 2013. Advances in printing press technology and the latest repro tools have made introduction of technology possible when the printing processes are highly managed. Flexolahti offers the best tools for Expanded Gamut Printing (EGP) and integration between different printing processes.

Repro and press integration

High quality requires intensive, press specific cooperation between the repro and printing house. In close partner collaboration, Flexolahti has developed a method providing real-time press monitoring and optimised proof-to-print control, based on constant print profile monitoring.

Print quality improvement project

A print quality improvement project begins with print process analysis. The outcome is a report containing a GAP-analysis, as well as development and investment plans. Flexolahti then builds a user-friendly quality management system for the ink kitchen and print room. Operator support and employee training on new operating procedures will be provided at initial stages of project implementation.

Colour management training

Why is colour management crucial to a printing house? What are customer requirements now and in the future? What are the foundations and building blocks of efficient colour management? How can colour management be applied in every project, on every working day? These questions are answered on trainings organised by Flexolahti and our partners.

ColorCert quality control

As an X-Rite Pantone partner, we offer user-friendly, cloud-based ColorCert quality control services. Each job is measured and a single figure indicates whether the printed results meet the specified brand requirements. The system generates statistical data on the performance of the printing press at printing unit level. The data can be used, for example, to track print consistency, detect maintenance requirements, and to standardise the printing machine more accurately.
